Worth County in northwestern Missouri... * WHEN...Until 930 AM CDT Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Streams remain elevated due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 837 PM CDT, Emergency management confirmed heavy rain in the warned area due to thunderstorms on Monday. Flooding is ongoing. Several roads remained closed throughout area. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Maryville, Albany, Tarkio, Stanberry, Mound City, Rock Port, Grant City, Fairfax, Burlington Junction, Hopkins, Ridgeway, Ravenwood, Maitland, Eagleville, New Hampton, Skidmore, Craig, Irena, Athelstan and Barnard. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Information: Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Grand River near Chillicothe affecting Linn and Livingston Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Grand River near Pattonsburg. * WHEN...Until Thursday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 30.0 feet, Nearly all agricultural land and secondary roads in the Grand River floodplain flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:30 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 29.4 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 29.4 feet just after midnight tonight.
